Dr. Sheeran and Dr. Zuidema will be available to treat patients by appointment only until further notice. On March 23rd Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced her "stay at home" order. In that order she states that healthcare providers that sustain and protect life are essential and may stay open. Thus, we are available, but we are implementing several restrictions to limit the spread of COVID-19. By putting these restrictions into place we are hoping to not only limit the spread but remain able to help those who need it.

* Walk in patients are not allowed until April 30.

* You must call the office as we need to screen all patients for potential exposure, to determine the severity of the problem and make an appointment.

If you get the answering machine:

* Please leave a message for one of the doctors and they will call you back as soon as possible.

* If you have had contact with anyone who has tested lab positive with COVID-19.

* If you have had:

a. fever of 100 degrees or more

b. persistent dry cough

c. difficulty breathing

d. if you have traveled outside the country in the past 30 days.

We are doing and have done everything possible to create a safe healthy environment in the office.

- We have removed all reading materials and children's toys.

- We are not requiring signing in upon entrance to office.

-We are prescreening each patient prior to being seen to insure they do not have any symptoms.

-We are practicing social distancing guidelines of the CDC with respect to the waiting room.

-We are limiting the number of patients in the office at any one time.

-We are disinfecting door knobs, handles, countertops each hour of the day.

-We are sanitizing the adjusting tables after each use.

-The doctors are sterilizing their hands after each patient adjustment.

-We have sanitizer for patient use upon entrance and exit to office.

Ultimately it is your decision whether you want to take the risk of coming to the office. If you make that decision, we will be available. For now we have decided to limit our office hours. . We will be setting up appointments for the doctor of you choice. Remember you must call the office at 457-5700 to be properly screened. If you get the answering machine please leave your name and telephone number and someone will get back to you to screen you and possibly make an appointments. We are aware that COVID-19 is an active and rapidly evolving situation. We will keep you updated on any further changes in our procedures.

Thank you so much for your understanding.
